This is why when the first Ipod came out, I said...nope...waiting.

And when the Ipod mini came out I said...eh...little longer.

Now this Nano is probably as small as you can make it (all jokes aside) with it still retaining a useable screen. Now wait a bit for the price to come down...and voila - I buy.

Can someone elaborate on the Alpine Ipod interface? Never heard of it.

With the Alpine headunits, to control the ipod, you have to byu a $100 box. HU<->box<->iPod The box is what lets the HU control the ipod. It is a cool idea, and it DOES work. It charges up the ipod while its plugged in your car too, even if youre listening to music from it, which is definitely a cool feature. The only downside is that the interface is EXTEMELY slow. That is the reason I hate it so much. I have a friend with it. Its cool, but for me its just way to slow to be useful. Just use the aux input.

Great advice. I've got the aux input, just wasn't aware that there was an Ipod one. I have a 7894 - I doubt it even works with it. Maybe it does.

ONe of the biggest things I hat about ipods is the fact they are so small. I have big hands and pretty much can't use the damn things because of it. Not to mention the wheel thing on the front is so narrow that even my pinky finger is too big to spin it.

I'll stick to my Zen Jukebox which cost a 1/3 of the price and holds 10 times the songs.

Dang, you must have some fat ass hands. I have huge hands and normal iPods are fine in size.
