congrats. great auto-x runner. great spacious interior. and well, new / CPO => warranty.

I enjoy the S's I drive at work. Don't be ignorant e30 owners, Coopers are nice cars. And a bargain.

I've been lusting after a Cooper S for about a year now. Thinking of getting one maybe next year, we'll see. They are a BLAST to drive, and they don't handle like a FWD car at all. Totally amazing.

Stupid fun little cars, I keep trying to talk myself out of one. I drove a Cooper S "anniversary package" car this week, with the full John Cooper Works package on it (~36k price tag or something ridiculous), That thing will haul. Very stiff and darty suspension package, and the 215 hp motor has a real wide powerband.

All things considered, I'm seriously playing around with the idea of a base Cooper as a DD (with the sport+ suspension and sport seats of course). ~30 mpg city and 40mpg highway sounds tempting in a vehicle that I can still fit a road bike inside with the back seat folded.

They are scary good at autox.

I constantly find my self checking out the BRG one I see on campus.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

If you get one, sawp the damn diff out for a shorter one. The gears are longer than an E46, really dulls the experience to me. While you're at it, get a real aftermarket LSD in there.

I also almost prefer the base model to the S. Perhaps putting lightweight 15's instead of those stupid 17's will help out a bit.

Thats a sick Cooper. But how can you afford that when you can't afford a real front lip for your E30? 8)
