or even apple.com and call them. Ask for refurbished ipad2's and you'll get a better deal and they are brand new. I bought a "refurbished" macbook pro 15 inch with the hi res antiglare screen and let me just tell you, after going through and extensively checking it out, not only was it not used, but it was upgraded to all the free new OS and stuff.

I saved like $500 over the cost of the apple store itself.

out here there are apple stores in towns where there is no or low sales tax, its an economic expansion zone or something like that, dont save a ton but 4-7% is still a decent amount.
