I actually went to every single barber shop in the area looking for a straight razor kit. I don't really want to order one off of ebay. I might just have to though, cause no one sold them in store.

I use Fusion right now, works fine.

I use the stuff from Baxter of California, including their safety razor with Gem blades and their close shave cream and badger brush... I love it, its a little bit more work than the Fusion, but I get a way closer shave. I havent gone straight blade on my own yet, but thats the next step. While living in Charleston, I had a straight blade shave at old south barber spa, it was nice, very very nice...

This, they work pretty well, but don't seem to keep an edge very long when pitted against the pubes. Bonus is that you get one free with every order from Summit so i have a bunch of them.

Are you a gorilla ? I had an uncle that had to shave twice a day and was thankful for my relative hairlessness. He was a burly dude all around mind you.

nah, they just don't shave that close so you have some stubble by the end of the day if you want to go out at night. it's not like it takes much effort to run it over your face before you head out.

i used to shave everyday with a mach3 or quattro, but in the summer the razor burn is killer with the heat and the constant sweat and the dirt from working on cars it sucks and you start to break out.

Got it from vintagestraightrazor.com, They had a sale an it was only $20, normally $60. Have yet to use it. It's a bit... intimidating.

I've used a Gillette Fusion for years though.
