Pumpkin Seeds

OK first of all, my girlfriend and I are having a dispute on how to eat pumpkin seeds. Do you eat them with the entire seed with the shell, or de-shelled, like a sunflower seed.

2nd, What are some of your favorite pumpkin seed recipes?

Put them on a cooking sheet with a little sea salt on top and put them in the oven and let them get crisp. Cool and eat the whole thing.

Don't remember the temp or for how long because my mom was the one making them haha.

this year we did the pumpkin seeds right with BACON!

laid all of the seeds down on the cookie sheet, salted and peppered
bacon strips on top of the seeds, more pepper
350 for about 10 minutes, flip the bacon strips then let the bacon go until it's nice and crispy
remove bacon
mix the seeds around pop them back in the oven again to fry up in all of them delicious bacon drippings

yum yum yum

and whole seeds...wouldn't want to waste all of that wonderful fiber
