Crash landing in Warsaw Boeing 767

Well yesterday around 1:35pm a crash landing took place in Warsaw, Poland. The planes landing gear would not deploy and emergency action took place. I had just dropped my grandmother off at the airport the night before around 11pm, well next morning I wake up to the news seeing that same plane making a crash landing. Pretty scary. Although my grandma was a boss and packed her shit while it was taking place and was the first one to book it out of the plane Below is an article and a clip with more details, along with a clip of my mom (srs) :shifty.

Woah... scary shit. Glad the plane landed safely. Kudos to the pilots.

Has anyone else noticed how LOT airfare tix are among the cheapest when searching on expedia, travelocity, etc. for trips to Europe? Has me wondering.

thats because the planes are barely making it off the ground. Very scary to be in one of those.

yeah glad everyone onboard is alive. It was once a proud airline but it's almost a complete repeat of the partitions of poland back in the day.

The only good thing about them is that you can almost always expect to get your baggage back at the end of the flight, this was the biggest problem with swiss airlines.

haha true. Wasn't Swiss airlines one of the companies that let LOT rot?

A 'LOT' story: Flew from either chicago or new york to warszawa a couple of years back. Fully loaded plane and of course, my seat was broken. BROKEN ON A 13 HOUR FLIGHT. Literally if you would touch the back of the seat it would instantly slam down, into the old man's knees that sat behind me. Thankfully I met with 2 hip youngsters next to my seat and we took turns sitting on that thing. I literally had to lay down on the floor to sit or sleep. I bitched and yelled at them and it was the, you're out of luck on this one kind of response.

after watching some Pam Am, I wouldn't mind LOT returning their 6ft tall blonde beauties back to the skies. :)
