I'm 29, no college degree, and I still find myself in one form of school or another about every year for work.

I really need to earn a degree though, would open up a few doors for the 6 figure salary I'm after.

just got mine i didnt realize the they were open so missed the first week of sign ups. but still got what i wanted, Bio and poly sci with a stupid PE class that fucks up my whole tuesday thursday schedule.

Spring qtr I have to take another "VLPA" "Visual, Literary, Performing Arts" class I already took an art class that was interesting but stupid papers about paintings and quizzes where she showed paintings on powerpoint and we had to identify them and tell what year they were painted in sucked! I was the only person in that class that was business major and I think the only one that wasn't like "global studys" or whatever I'm an accounting major from the business school, wouldn't it be better use of my (and all the other business majors') time to do something somewhat useful with that extra class like excel or computer class?
At least it can be a like 101 class so hopefully I can take like yoga or some crap like that

Did everyone get signed up for the winter courses they wanted? Being a freshman at UW I signed up within 3 seconds and the website crashed after a minute.

I got all my classes though...

Yeah that happened to me last qtr, really pissed me off as I was like the last of my friends to sign up... I had to scramble to figure out what to take as I couldn't do anything I planned, so stupid!

Had a fun experience in my Networking Lab today.

Configuring an OSPF network.
Configure everything correctly, R3 wont communicate with R2.
Check everything for like an hour.
Call professor over, he looks for ten minutes.
Randomly the network decides it wants to work, with no changes being made.

So I totally fucked up on an english paper, changed margins at the last minute cause didnt realise they were off till then. Turned it in and remembered it would fuck up my works cited page.

and while I'm here, if theres anyone who is studying to get in/already in law school, I applaud you lol.

Its obviously hard, its law school, but my girlfriend took the lsat a few weeks ago and seeing how much people have to study for that mindfuck of a test is ridiculous. I thought it was gonna be a test on laws... no. instead, its hours of questions that are manipulated to fuck with the way you think. theres a section thats literally called brain games. not to mention the bar exam is the lsat on steroids.

Whaaaat calc 2 and circuits? Circuits at my school has calc 3 as a coreq.. But im taking it next semester and the only prof teaching is the one that everyone says to avoid at all costs... So im looking forward to that.. Yay for shitty profs.

I'm pretty sure my circuits class is dumb'd down a little. It's community college, they let me take engineering physics without calc 2 as well definitely harder but not impossible. My professor wrote a book called technology yours forever and I have to say it's been the best $80 I ever spent. It has everything from math, digital logic, circuit analysis, ect. The dude also came up with a faster way to do Mesh analysis which I wish I knew before I took physics 2 it would've saved me so much time on the tests. I'm sure when I transfer I'll have to take harder circuits courses but whatever.

Got 100% on Financial markets and institutions midterm...

Feels weird, I didn't think I did that well and prof said he usually curves it like 10% so it feels like a hollow win. My 96% in accounting was a legit -4 points test and that felt awesome, but getting 100% feels plain weird. I don't get it.
