What math is it? I'm in the same boat, I'm a business major and the math is the struggle. It's fine when it's applied, but a straight math class doesn't do it for me, I find it really hard.

Literally Intro to College Algebra

After this I have one more class, either Calc 1 or something, forget off the top of my head.

All I literally want to do is pass, I scraped by on the first Exam with an 80.

Why the fuck do I need all this math to enter lines of config and maintain networks... I mean Im just starting out but from what ive read in all the cisco books so far the most math ill do is easier.

How to get your students to hate you:

Make a homework problem involves computing integration by parts 7 fucking times. But, wait... Let's make that a single part of the homework problem and let's add 3 other similar parts to that single homework problem... And then let's create 5 more homework problems in a similar fashion.

Fucking dick. Integration by parts was taught years ago. This isn't learning. This is useless busy work.

Try integration by parts and throw in some trig substitutions haha. I'm actually sitting in my electronics class now bored out of my mind :ST1G:

Those classes are a joke. I didn't have to take the information systems one, but the excel and word ones were stupid. Exactly like you're saying, 89% and you fail. Stupid. They relaxed it after I took it last semester because the pass fail rate was so terrible. It's really not very useful, my stats class teaches me way more about excel than those classes did. I spent 9 hours a week on them and they were 1 credit classes.

The worst part about the tests is I know how to do half the shit, just in a different way. So say i do it my way, gets the same result, software doesnt care, "its wrong, fuck you."

Other then that class Im liking UW Stout, cheaper textbooks, cheaper food, profs all seem pretty capable (even if their classes are overloaded, thanks scott walker).

My English Prof is insane though, has like a laundry list of medical issues and like blabs all class about stuff lol.

Only class im struggling with is ICT cause its online and is busywork heaven. Glorified excel class, has these tests that require 90% or higher to pass, if you get an 89% you get a 0. Has you read chapters from a book from 2011 or whatever, so it talks about "important programming languages" that have actually been dead since then. Then it has you discuss "logic" and "philosophy" questions in this discussion board.
