Im at Hopkins and the program is through a Hopkins school so they were helping with some of it which definitely attracted me in the first place. Biotech is still broad enough that there are a ton of options to go specialize in something. The PhD program I would like to be in is Environmental Toxicology, still requires biotech principles.

After half a year post graduating I was ready to go back and got in a masters program for biotechnology. Its all online and geared for people working full time so I figured it was a good match. Half way through my first class and Ive realized, online classes are definitely not for me. And the program doesn't feel too authentic so I don't think Im going to continue. Back to looking at real grad schools now!

I'm having to write a Rhetorical Analysis Essay on an excerpt of my choice for English Comp. I'm going to be taking a Psychology class after this.

I just picked up Intro to Poli Sci as a mini-semester class to help my GPA a little. I forgot what it's like to write response papers. It's gross. I don't like it.

Anyway.. Hows linear algebra?

The fun part about my school is Linear Algebra is a 400 level class that you're supposed to take in your senior year... BUT many other classes deal with some of those topics and just expect you to know it. Fun stuff.

I have tried Khan academy but watching/listening to lectures online is so weird. I guess I will have to give it another go.

Taking Calculus 2, basic Chemistry class, Chemistry Lab, Physics Mechanics, and Physics lab this semester.

My Physics class is absolutely killing me. Can't seem to grasp the concepts on my own.

Khan academy is pretty solid for overviews and details, but if you want someone to explain things in different terms let me know! I'd be glad to help you out

This complete idiot I'm stuck working with just bragged to me about how he can stare at the sun for four minutes, I told him he's going to screw up his eyes, he says "ok" sarcastically, I told him to ask a doctor if he doesn't believe me, he says "the doctor doesn't know too much." What the fuck?

I don't think he would even know what a vaccination is. He's severely uneducated, but that kind of ignorance can be forgiven because of where some people come from, uneducated stupid is distinguishable from just plain stupid (staring at the sun stupid) - the kind you can't fix.
