Hey anyone here ever take an online CC class before?
I'm looking at enrolling in a bull shit American Politics class at my local CC back home for the summer.
Thought it would be a good opportunity to a get a little bit ahead.
It's online, but i've never taken an online class before, and have no idea what the format or structure is like...

No. Team member did the internship a year before me, and put me in contact with his former supervisor. Then, based on my proven work through fsae (aka references) I got the job. Obviously needed to be good student, have prior work history, speak German, but fsae was the clincher and how I found out about it.

Fsae's primary values are applying your theoretical knowledge and networking. Every interview and job I've had asks about teamwork and fsae is a perfect way to discuss applying your knowledge to a practical application in a team setting under high stress. Its purpose is NOT to play racecar engineer.......primarily. Haha.

Fsae networking or experience has actually helped me get every job I've applied to, and callbacks from each interview I've gone to regardless of whether I took the job or not. DO FSAE.

Worst case, you drink beer and play at racecars. Best case, you do that and get jobs.

if you decide on coming to ucsd, managerial + financial acct go towards a bus. minor/concentration.

they recommend that ish hella hard for getting into the financial world.
rady also has a shit ton of networking connects.

That's frighteningly accurate. Before Lincoln last year, we'd work in the lab for about three days straight with no sleep, then go up on the roof of my house with several handles of alkeehawl and drink ourselves senseless, then go get burritos.

Yeah I've been getting really into it. I did most of my important work earlier last semester helping with design of the aero kit. Now I'm mostly doing carbon fiber layup and odd jobs around the shop (did a lot of testing the other day).
I can't wait to get better at welding and machining so I can do a lot more work!

And here here on the booze and racecars lol.

I am THE dumbest motherfucker in the world. Missed my online Econ 201 test yesterday because I didn't bother to check Canvas (same thing as Blackboard basically)... That class should have been a brain dead easy A and now the best I can do is a B. I am so pissed off at myself right now...
