I don't really listen to music while studying. I usually go to Simplynoise.com and listen to Brown noise if I want to tune out background noise.

I'm a Mechanical Engineering RETP (Pre GA Tech) Major so I have quite a bit of drafting, sketching, AutoCAD/ Solidworks assignments. For those assignment I'll usually listen to The Smoking Tire Podcast on iTunes to keep from getting bored and to keep me focused on finishing the assignment.

what concept(s) was hard for you to grasp?
i initially struggled with one of its pre-req's at my school (financial accounting) but it was pretty peezy after the midterm.
Mostly the content was easy, problem is the professor who assigned tons of busy work that counted towards the grade, was a devious bastard of an asshole at writing tests and his lectures seemed like they were in greek or sanskrit which made everyone a little

I guess it was kinda hellish because it was my first time overloading units while working or maybe I'm just a pansy lol. Glad to say the rest of my finance courses were a little easier courtesy of better professors.

No, I go to Georgia Southern so I'm a part of their team, but I'm in GA Tech Tech's RETP (Regents Engineering Transfer Program). Basically I take all the core classes (GT Required) at Ga Southern for my first 2 years. Then I get automatically transferred to GT to finish up my last 2 years (I take my major classes at GT). So I get a GT degree but with a higher GPA for cheaper and without taking the crappy GT Weed out classes that GT freshman/sophomores have to endure. I choose to go this route because I need to keep the Hope scholarship for as long as possible. 70% of GT students lose hope after their first semesters.

Back to school for the first time in nearly 10 years, not counting schooling with the military. Working on my Networking Administration degree. So far, so good. A majority of my classes are online, which works well for my schedule, but I wish I had that lecture time as well. Luckily all my professors put up the class lecture slides that I can go over while reading and make some key point notes.

I'm doing chassis design and fabrication, really wanted suspension, but chassis will only take a month or 2, then I'll help with suspension. Are you doing FSAE?

Yeah man, sounds boring. I'm so glad I took AP Psych in high school, now i don't ever have to worry about taking it.

I've pretty much come to realize that I'll be around for 5 years due to me figuring out my path.

Im hoping 5 years max. 4 if i can do it by taking summer classes and what not. I actually just emailed a SU to see what their requirements are for transfer. I dont like school and cannot wait to get back to work only. But like I said in a previous post, im taking classes that i have no interest in. So maybe that will change when iget into some cool classes

I love my psychology class. I like my art class as well. I liked my econ class before I dropped it.

I will be taking Trig as an 8 week class and Poli Sci as an 8 week classes coming October.

I want to graduate in 4 years. I am going to do whatever I can to make that shit happen. I talked to a counselor and he said it is super unlikely, I am going to talk to SDSU and a few other schools to see what they would like to see in order me to trasfer for sure after two years.
