Professor keeps making this ICND1 Cisco test sound like the end of the world, "start studying now (beginning of Nov)" but from what Ive read its tricky but not engineering exam tricky.

EE/m42 turbo gang reppin
Question for those who have taken dynamics. How much of it is based on statics? A little or a lot? Because I feel like I havent learned shit from my statics class (the prof the i was complaining about earlier in this thread) and im seriously considering retaking it with a different prof. Opinions?
Dynamics however is the hardest class I have taken so far bar none, statics does apply to dynamics in some questions. The exams I avged around 50-60% which was also the average for the whole class.Comment

Statics for me was really easy, I had a good mechanical engineering professor.

lol. my linear algebra teacher has been so nice to us. Hes said many times that theres no point in making us do shit like that. One of my favorite profs so far.Comment

Oh hey... There's 30 minutes left in the last class of the semester. LET'S START A WHOLE NEW TOPIC THAT WILL BE ON THE FINAL.
Seriously. Fuck this guy. I have never met a human being I have adamantly hated more than this professor.

Shit... Not sure what to do.. Still leaning towards retaking statics but that would suck. But would it suck more than taking dynamics with little to no knowledge of statics??
Im EE so I dont need strengths. I dont really need statics either but its required for whatever reason.. but Ive been told that strengths is pretty much the same shit as statics. So if dynamics is strengths on crack then im on the path to failing dynamics. Sick.

Giving up is the worst thing you could do, because then you'll kick yourself for wasting time going to school when you could've been working on building a career in something. Cut back on work. When I started working on my 2nd bachelor's degree (going for Electrical Engineering) I dropped down to working 2 days. I'm poor as shit now, but I can focus on school and am a lot less stressed than I was when I was working full time and going to school full time.
3-4 years for me. I just want to be done with school, hoping to finish this degree before I'm 30. I'm getting friggin wrecked by this math. I went from thinking I'd never need it and neglecting it (through high school and my first degree), to falling back on plan 'C' where math is my entire fucking education. My last math class before this semester was college algebra, in 2008.

mebe I join you guys in fall 2016? Thinking of a career change [read: getting the fuck out of here] and going back to restart an engineering degree.
Provincial community college offers a 2 year diploma "Mechanical Engineering Technology" program that is designed to flow into year 3 of an actual engineering program.
I'm hoping to do it this way because 1: It'll definitely be easier to get back into it than doing real university courses, 2: 8:30-4 schedule, so I can shmooze HR to put me on evening shifts and try to work [read: mostly do any class homework] and still pay the mortgage/car etc. I think I'll be at 11 on a 1-10 scale of how much I'll hate myself while doing this, but if I can swing it even for a year, I think it would be beneficial.Originally posted by priapismMy girl don't know shit, but she bakes a mean cupcake.Originally posted by shamesonUsually it's best not to know how much money you have into your e30Comment

As long as it flows into a non-tech engineering program. I have met very few mechanical engineering technology graduates that have the job prospects of a regular mechanical engineering graduate.
