You may take me wrong on this but,....anyone can build(if you have the time and the money) a race car out of anything. None of the other cars were in a race vs the Ford. I understand BMW goes out there and rips the track daily with tourist in the other seats. Impress me with a time that beats all cars in his class then you have something.

Yes i know they can, Find the VW bus with the Porsche driveline. And no one said he was racing anyone, Who knows about the other cars on the track that day, they could of been just testing out there and not even in it all the way. I could really care less what time he turns, i'm more impressed that he is out here tossing around a car that would be a hand full to drive.

They claim the car weighs 2500 lbs, if that is true (with the fiberglass front and aluminum dash as they claim) then that thing is truly a monster.

Fairlanes arent as big as you think they are. They are kind of a narrow car if you look at them.
