    Favorite job?

I just turned 18 and have been looking for a job.

What has been your favorite place to work at?

As soon as I turned 18 in high school, I went from being a short order cook to a server at a restaraunt I worked at. Best/easiest way to make money in HS I think.

I'm 17 and over the summer I worked at Ranger's Ballpark as a vendor. I went up and down the stairs selling food and drinks. So maybe look into that if you like sports and want to get in for free.

I valet'd cars for a BMW dealer in West Chester Pa. Loved it. Got to roll several Alpina B7s, Z8s, M3/5/6, e31s, etc, etc.

My job now it awesome too, parts at an indie Porsche/BMW/Merc shop. We're getting a Ferrari 575M tomorrow. ^_^

Domino's Pizza/Papa Johns. Try to get a job that you get tips. Plus you get to spend all your time at work in your E30.

Although it had it's ups and downs.. the Army was definitely one of the best/worst experiences of my life.

So many good memories. In the end, it just wasn't how I wanted to live my life, but I do miss it quite often.

Yessir! It's 81/64. Exit 213B onto 11N. Stop by one day and check it out. If anything, because we have a Z8 as the "shop car". Lol.

We really don't do body work. Owner's BIL does a little on the side, but it's not something we get into due to EPA regs on chems/paints/etc.

I too valet'd cars at several dealerships, those seemed to be the "easiest" job that actually payed decent and time went by fast. The only time it sucked was when it was slow, and you had to walk around looking like your doing something! but for the most part, i was mobile, running up and down stairs, always in a car, and FREE! thats right, i was mostly walking around, taking smoke breaks, kicking it with other valets until a car was needed.

I used to be a porter at enterprise rent a car, that was kind of fun because there was a lot of driving around town, picking people up and shuffling cars. I didn't like washing the cars so much, but it was a good place to work.

Hotel/server/bussing or the service industry in general is definitely an area where you can make better money for min wage work.

                            Werd.
Try getting a job where you can live off the tips you make for a little food here and there and of course, for gas. Save the paychecks you get for your car and other stuffs. I make like a grand a month excluding tips and manage to save about 800 every month. I just save 50 bucks from each weekly paycheck for pocket money in case tips don't go good ;)
