Motor started spitting oil (along with leaking it everywhere), it got raided for parts here and there for the red car...I got a 2002 motor for it but saw after taking mine out that the e30 motor mount provisions weren't there. I was moving into DC proper so I had to unload the 3 cars I owned at the time, and the 318 went first. Took off/sold the fancy parts, loaded it up with the junk ones, and had it taken away. Got my hands dirty, cut my teeth, and learned how to drive (ha) from '99-'08 on that thing. Great car.
