Well, just got my first quote for getting my chrome done, $800 for the set of side grills. Ouch. That was 2 parts, no door handles, rear license plate light/licence plate holder, hood center strip, or B pillar bright work. No tail lights either. I think this is going to be painful. hahaha.

Definitely look out of CA, they are expensive to do out here. Try talking to old hot rod shops that deal with chroming a lot

A guy I know gave me a lead on a place in Reno. I'll get some pics processed of teh stuff I need done and send them an email...

In other news, its really hard to believe these pics are of the same car.

My mind is seriously blown about that.

                  And post 6000...

Here is the thread from the Alfa BB. http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/giul...t-i-found.html

I'm happy to share the rebuild of the car. When it comes to big rebuilds, I think this pretty well qualifies.

No new updates at this point. I think my painter has taken the week off. (Which is fine with me.)

This hasn't been polished yet. I think the paint was still pretty wet when the pics were taken. That said, it was cold here, and cold in his booth so the odds of serious orange peel is pretty low. He did say there were a few runs in the clear so, once its cut and rubbed out it should look really amazing.

Now, time to start writing big checks and watching the $ run out the door
