Yes the GTV was a good looking car, and they are fetching premium prices. Heck that wasn't even a rare GTV.

Yes I agree the $ spent on the Sprint is worth every penny. I'm really hoping I don't use all of my $5K budget for the bodywork. If I do, I do, but it would be great to have some extra that I can put into other things on the car.

Pininfarina did design both the Ferrari and the Alfa, there is a reason there is a resemblance.

I've likely sanded off 10 lbs of bondo that was used at the factory (the whole car was covered in it.) That is why the paint failed. (talc in the bondo attracted the moisture and then it failed.) I'm shooting for very very little bondo.

Changing noses on a GTV is a simple job. You can't change the nose on a Sprint because they were all hand formed. A great nose on one, won't fit another without serious and noticeable work. I was originally exploring that option thinking it would be cheaper and easier. As it turns out, not so much.

                            "Thank you.

Yes, the car was serious twisted. We rebuild the car, the burned sheets can not be used.

Windscreen frame, some pillars and fire wall are originals, the rest new or very good second hand parts.

Try to find correct period and original GTC spare parts!"

What we changed went a bit beyond the nose into the structure. Ended up cutting through the front frame rails & had to use a hydraulic jack to line the car back together. We have a little spider getting a nose job as well.
