Ported head, Shankle 8L cams, it should rip.

Oh man... well that sounds good. I'd do that! You might need it to sit a little lower and wider for all that.

Seems like I remember people saying the motor mounts are special order (Centerline has them?) and the deck height is higher so the header collector hit the floor.

OK, so one is at a national convention / concours, but still....

Maybe a non-E30 BMW gathering looks more like the upper one? I have no idea.
                        What's your experience out there?

I think it happened years ago when new Alfas stopped coming here. The owners club migrated from a sports car club to a vintage car club. The people who raced them are getting older.

Bill Gillham also restored this Giulietta SS. I think he calls it Holland Blue. It's in a museum in CA now.

Well, yes the Alfa crowd does tend to be older. I'd have to guess I'm one of the younger Sprint owners at 39.

As for the hot 1750 in my car, the engine that I'm going to run comes with the motor mounts already set for a Sprint. The guy who has it was all set to drop it in his car until he gave up due to the amount of rust in the frame. I'm hoping to pick up the Alfaholic's Race suspension for the Sprint. It might not go on the car right away but it will be on the list of things to install.

That SS might be Dutch blue. I like that color also. Its a GTV color, but I wonder how far off it is from Winter blue that I'm considering?
