Not a real one. I read this is a copy with correct proportions, built on more modern running gear and fabricated chassis. Damn impressive metalwork.

They just called it a copy of a "Barchetta" which just means little boat in Italian. Remember the famous Ferrari 166 Barchetta?

So I don't know if this was maybe a 1900 iron block series from the early 50s...? Oh yeah, in poking around for images just now, I think it was a 1900SS. Looking at some of these pics, I'd say the "copy" is maybe prettier and more graceful than a lot of them. They were all a little different, or by different coachbuilders.

The poster said it has a Fiat 1100 front suspension, an Alfa 116 engine, Alfa 105 gearbox, and the correct wheelbase and track. Tubular chassis, alum and steel body. It's all hand-fabricated, and "pretty quick," he said. For sale for the right price....but it's in Indonesia....

Pretty damn sweet car. And no patterns to follow, just wizardry with metal!

That Giulia is one hot looking bitch. The type you'd take home and let the family see.

1958 "SVA" #01849, owned and raced by Ada Pace, Italian Female Champion twice. She rebodied it by Zagato in early 1958.

Ooo..I just found this supplier called Mr Fiat with every weird little rubber part and boot and window seal and taillights. Seat frames, switches, windshield gaskets...pretty great selection for restorations. In Atlanta.

Like look at these - they can get you a complete rear fender panel, from the original dies...$1800+, but what would the labor cost you to rebuilt that shape?

Mr Fiat does have a lot of good parts. I will be placing an order with them in the future.

Speaking of new stuff, I dropped my Nardi wheel off with a guy to be restored. He does some amazing work. He can also build a custom wood rimed wheel in any size for $1500 (He said he could build a 13 inch replica of my Nardi that would look identical, only smaller and much more strong.) I can't wait to see my wheel when its done.

These make my Sprint look flawless! oddly enough one of them has the same damage to the nose that mine does. Might be a few useable parts, but that is about it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/291747997626?rmvSB=true
