That was a cool video. I wonder if Petrolicious will be interested in coming up and doing another video on mine when its ready? (They did my Datsun Roadster back in 2012)

Here are some pics from Monterey this year.

For the rest of my shots, have a look here:

            He's a little bit hipster.

Uses the same bridges as Magnus Walker.

            Nice pictures and sounds.

            hmmm....dark grey...hmm...

EDIT! Holy shit, look at all those great Alfa pics!

EDIT 2 - I still want to find out what that weird vent is on the trunk of #36.

EDIT 3 - Look at #85...that's where the fuel filler is on a GTA. That must protect it.

What is the weird vent on the (1)85 car? And why does the fuel filler area need to be protected. Just looks like a hassle to add fuel.

how much does a tz sell for these days? i'd probably guess a half mill? you would have to be either crazy or have deep pockets today and be willing to risk balling it up into little pieces on the track. i bet they don't get pushed to the limit anymore.

Marnix drives his car hard. Story has it that he found in on a used car lot years ago. Not sure what they are going for but I'd guess you are in the right ball park. Vintage racers drive their cars pretty hard, this one is no exception.

Most of the pics of GTAs I've seen the filler is in the trunk lid somewhere, and often they're different, and often they're replicas anyway. So I have no idea what that hood is about.

FBx - There was an interesting guy, Fritz Derenburger (sp?) from Vancouver BC, who had restored his own TZ and SZ. He and his wife would drive one or the other down I-5 in traffic to SIR in south Seattle, drive it all day at our track day, then drive it home.

But that was quite a few years ago, before they were worth a fortune.

The guy went to Spain for vacation... nothing new. About the only thing left for him to do is to fix the rust in the trunk. I'd post a pic of the hole in the trunk but I don't have any uploaded (thought I did). The pics are on the other computer at home.

                          Just found these...1962, Pininfarina did a one-off on a 2600 spider chassis.

Got a little bit of Italian Stingray going' on....

I think it's really crisp and modern for 1962. The curves and sharp edges, that roof is fantastic, and doze hips! Weird color, but...1962. Might have been great in a warm silver / pewter, or dark grey.

                              Z8......Surprise!...
"The car design was the effort of a design team led by Chris Bangle. The exterior was designed by Henrik Fisker and the interior by Scott Limpet."

                              I had no idea....
