    ALONSO!!! ALONSO!!!

The Constructors Title may still be up for grabs, but Alonso is the champ for 2005 (and the youngest one in F1 history). The GP in Brazil wasn't really exciting this year.....Fernando was pretty much a shoe in for the title so long as he finished on the podium. Renault and McLaren are neck-n-neck for said Constructors Title....I'm putting my money on the boys in silver and black for this one.

Actually, BMW purchased Sauber....and yes, they are moving to the Cosworth 2.4L V8 motor for next year. I also learned that HP is dropping their sponsorship at the end of the season. I wonder what Sir Frank has lined up as a replacement to assist with funding the effort?

I agree.....although Kimi is quick and the McLaren really started to prove itself well from mid-way thru the season. He's got what it takes to be a title holder too.

mclaren did show that it can be competitive but it was a little too late....btw.sorry to go a little off topic but what does everyone think of Pedro Da La Rosa...mclaren's test driver who had the fastest time on most of the race weekends?

I think Pedro has the talent to prove himself. If you read the news stories about the teams' testing during the regular season, Pedro's lap times are right up there with his teammates (Kimi and Juan). Don't know how long Ron Dennis plans to hold onto him....perhaps he has a plan up his sleeve ;-)

De La Rosa already had a full drive for Jaguar a few years back. He did pretty well, but nothing spectacular. I think he has a lot more value to McLaren as a tester rather than a race driver.

Congrats to Alonso, he only dropped out of what, one race in canada? McLarens are fast, but at a price, and also keep in my as you guys have already noted, McLaren has a 3 car for the weekends, which is BS in my opinion.

Next years gonna be intresting; more cars going to bridgestone [williams and toyota] All cars going to 20,000rpm turning 2.4L V8's, Rubins and Button on the same team [thats a time bomb!], BMW team cars, 4 cars under Redbulls control, and schuie to regain the championship ;]

IM a little sad that we will never see Rubins win his home race, so many tiems he has come close, and i dont think he will have a chance with BAR
