    Unfortunately in our lifetime we will never know weither it contains life or not. That is unless we find some way to travel faster than the speed of light. Our earliest radio waves have not even reached 100 light years away.

          That's not true at all. Our best bet for detecting extra-terrestrial life is going to be the radio signals coming in..not detection and a response of our own.
