Hey does anybody know how to take the music out of an ipod touch and save it ?

open itunes, under "file", there is an option called "transfer purchases from ipod". Also, I think that the next time you sync your phone, itunes will ask you if you want to transfer the music from your ipod to the library.

Yea well I didn't purchase these songs so that wontwork so I still need help taking the songs out cause I have to restore it :(

go get this program called senuti (itunes spelled backwards) Ive used it a few times without issue.

If I remember right, I used to use a program called jhymn to do it. There are a few good programs out there. Usually you can just use windows explorer and pull it all off of your ipod though.

easies thing to do if your ipod is jail broken...use ssh to look for your music and transfer it using ssh (if you know what that even means)

or download touchcopy and use craagle to find the serial


i personally like using ssh its easier and effective
