my e30 m3 rc drift car, drift monkey's theme that is!

chassis is a tamiya tt01-d, have a bunch of aluminum pieces for it and some suspension arms on the way, current ones are worn out, got most of everything for free except the body, that i just painted and currently putting on the decals, and suspension bits and the wheels, so i dont have too much into it. here are the pics of the car

    almost done :D

Is it the right length chassis? Wheels should be centered in the wells.

that body is a 200mm body, and i think the TT01 chassis is designed for 190mm bodies.. it can all be fixed with how its mounted.

I used to race these things professionally. I was still on belt driven 4wd electric cars.. shaft driven is nice, but it wasn't NEARLY as smooth and quiet as my belt system (HPI Pro-2, i've had many other cars, but this was my favorite.)

its a 200mm hpi body on a tamiya chassis, so its not gonna be perfect, but when i did drill the holes on the body it looked fine to me, im tellin ya its gotta be the angle of which i took the pic or something, i might be wrong, if so then fuck it lol its gonna get destroyed anyways lol

I believe you can swap the angle of the rear suspension to change its length. I have a TTO1 chassis for my M3 and also a porsche gt3 and i swap the rear suspension angles to make the chassis fit the porsche as its slightly shorter body.

you might have to get threaded shock bodies with adjustable collars, almost like a real car.

or set up the body posts to have the body lower, that works too :D

The light stickers are transparrent, i have light buckets also and was goin to put yellow leds in the front and have tail lights to, the ride height is adjusted by the body posts, and look at my chassis pic, i have threaded shock collars with different spring rates and different valves for the shocks and filled with shock oil
