btw just a random add on, tuning is also illegal in belgium, france and i think spain, not sure about the later at all.
You can get caught in two ways:
1. your car looks far from stock (22" spinners) and you've just done some kind of toolbag move in front of a cop.. they'll write you up for improper equipment and whatever else you did..
2. the yearly car inspection makes sure your car is stock suspension wise and engine wise.. you can have other stuff that looks factory, but be very careful.. even your tires have to be stock size for this!!
most "euroed out" cars you see from these countries go back to mostly stock every year to pass inspection...
