Still gotta take a driving lesson before I can officially legally drive. Only missed one question--I thought you had to brake throughout an entire sharp turn. Apparently if you drive slow enough you only brake before. Never knew that (I've probably driven around 25-30 hours in my lifetime, and made my fair share of black marks on corners).

Teach him how a clutch works and make sure he understands fully what he's doing first. I tried to ride a motorbike but couldn't do it for shit, then I thought about how a clutch really works and what you're doing, and drove stick fine my first time (about a year ago). I basically learned to drive a standard while taking a dump. I only stall it (rarely) if I'm not really paying attention.

In an e30, brakes are only used to stop at red lights, usually not even that.
When going through a turn and/or to avoid crashing into semi trucks, abruptly downshift with swift clutch release. Control the awkward angle for as long as possible and wave to bystanders if applicable.
Don't worry about turns, worry about the queues of women that'll beg you to suck dry their immensely throbbing labia minors.
