Ironically yesterday when I got it, as I was coming home from a final with my mom driving, a guy (presumably from my school, he looked around 16) tried to cut her off to get into traffic from a side street, and didn't see another car (again she looked around 16-17) going the other direction and basically gunned it right into her. She stopped under a foot from my mom's front bumper.

Still gotta take a driving lesson before I can officially legally drive. Only missed one question--I thought you had to brake throughout an entire sharp turn. Apparently if you drive slow enough you only brake before. Never knew that (I've probably driven around 25-30 hours in my lifetime, and made my fair share of black marks on corners).

And I look stoned out of my fucking mind in my picture. Oh well...

Around here I'm almost embarrassed to be so old. I suppose I got my permit in '83 but I've no recollection of that. I do remember aceing my DL test first thing in the morning on my 16th birth day and arrested by noon.

Well I had about half the money for my car, and my dad liked it so much compared to other e30's we'd seen that he decided to loan me the other half.

I bought my e30 on ebay before I had a license with the proceeds made from mowing lawns and selling parts here and on other forums that shall remain nameless haha. It was tough, but it's doable.
