Looks like an awesome pup - I hope you can get him back. I'm with everybody else - I bet the "aggression" was BS. If he were closer I'd be looking for a way to adopt the big ole guy.

Convince your GF to take him in since she has the extra space and the ability to have a pet, then find him a proper home if you two can't keep him. Too many dogs get left or abandoned by owners.Comment

Take him back. You need to introduce him to the new owners. When you find a good family, you deliver it to them yourself so the introduction goes well and so you can verify the home is clean and the people are behaved right. Charge a nominal adoption fee so it's not a "free" dog, it's someone who can afford to take care of him.
I almost adopted out a cat I rescued off the street this way but I just couldn't do it. The little guy follows me around like a puppy. He's sleeping on my desk as I write this.sigpic

One of my dogs just passed away recently, so now my family is down to only 3, if you were local I would defiantly consider it. That dog looks like a big sweetheart.

I have a 5 year old Saint Bernard. If you can't find anything locally, let me know. I can see what I can do on my end. If you just need a foster home for a short while, we could watch him.
