Girl i know got a DUI a few months back, and just got her paperwork for a 'diversion' aka clean record, maybe lose her license for a month, and no booze for a year/alcohol classes. So she gets a slap on the wrist and has no real consequences....Lucky as fuck.

Fast forward to now, tonight she went to dinner with some friends tonight, and just posted a pic of her on facebook taking shots with them...yea, she drove there.

How fucking dumb/irresponsible can people be?

She is in Kansas, I understand wrong place wrong time. But her BAC was .221, she hit a parked car and got off with a slap on the wrist. That is a blessing, i just cant comprehend drinking and driving (in any amount) within a week of getting off, but still having license restrictions.

Edit: i have definitely driven a few times when i shouldnt have and wont do it again, too many people i know have been hurt or arrested due to drinking and driving...But i just am frustrated with someone clearly not learning their lesson.
