Who plays The Old Republic?

I've never gotten any MMO's but considering I've been highly anticipating this after the disappointment of beating KOTOR 2 I had to try this. I'm a level 17 Sith Inquisitor at the moment. Just finished Drumond Kaas and I have my ship. I have a handful of locals that I group with but if anyone is on R3V that has it that would be cool too.

I go by Desaevious as well on "Darth Malak" since I'm in CT.

i never played kotor 2. i loved kotor 1 though.

skyrim is hogging all my time atm.

looks intresting but I cannot at all play 3rd person only RPGs. I have to have first person.

You can do 1st person, but you'll get r8ped in PvP...

From the videos I've seen it looks any other generic MMORPG these days. Aion, WoW, FFXIV, whatever your cup of tea is...I refuse to get pulled into the hype that it'll be any different.

Diablo 3....better not shit the bed.

The only MMORPG i like, well used to like before 2005 is Everquest. loved that game. then SOE shit on it by taking away, changing or streamlining every aspect of the game i enjoyed starting in 2005.

Give the game a try before you staple it generic. Having full voiced conversations adds a layer of depth to every little mission you do, and being able to choose things that actually impact your character, and the companion characters they run with is really neat.

Yeah this is exactly like KOTOR 1 and 2 and I loved both immensely. This is just like them with the MMO element...when you quest as a single player you don't even realize you need the help unless you do the side quests that you can get real cool items in.

I'm on the first server in the list, whichever that is. 14 Shadow and 3 Inquisitor thus far. I'm really liking the game, it's like a huge version of Kotors 1 and 2, just with the option to use more people if needed.
