Neither TetherMe nor PDANet will protect against the carriers monitoring your tethering. The internet hops will tell them whether you have something extra connected to your phone if they bother to check. -
I am verizon based and have used/downloaded/abused my data plan with no issues yet. I have actually never heard of tetherme but if its anything like PDAnet, you should be good.Leave a comment:

Get iOS 5.0.1 on your iPhone 4,3Gs,iPod Touch 4,3 or iPad
Download latest redsn0w (0.9.10b3)
Plug in iPhone
