OP: Good for you! (srs, not sarcastic)

I never understood the allure of inhaling smoke and blowing it back out again.

Neither did I at the time but I started for a completely different reason than most people.

          Good for you.

I've never habitually smoked cigarettes, but I understand it's rather difficult to stop. My grandmother was like 86lbs near the end, and still smoked while she was on Oxygen. Not smart or a great combo, but by them it was irreversible.

My temper and irritability hasn't been too bad. The coughing though is driving me and my girlfriend insane. Hands have been shaking for several days now. My great grandpa died a few years ago at the age of 98. Man smoked since he was 12 years old. He didn't die of cancer. Hell, 8 hours before he passed away in his sleep he was out chopping wood and working on his old ford. He was healthy has a horse. Scary thing is cigarettes hit everyone differently. Take my great grandpa for example and then other cases where people get cancer within 1-2 years of smoking. That really woke me up.

I use to smoke but when I am around it or think about it, I just remember how bad & shitty smellin everything is and makes my breath smell like shit. Plus it's nice having healthy lungs

Gonna start jogging tomorrow, hopefully that'll help my lungs clear out a little quicker.

Could try CPT, if your gf is up to it. Should help clear up your chest faster.

eNotes.com has study guides, lesson plans, quizzes with a vibrant community of knowledgeable teachers and students to help you with almost any subject.

sounds good but I don't really want to have to take prescribed drugs. Just doing physical activities hopefully will get it going and doing some breathing exercises that were in the articles should help. thanks for the info though.

It is not about drugs. CPT is more or less the cuffed hands of one light like beating on the back where the lungs are to help break up what is in there so you can cough it up. The first few times if it works you will cough up a lot. Or if you have like one of the electronic back massage things that also works.

                      this link shows it better.

ha, usual morning routine. Start coffee. Hop on R3v while coffee is brewing. Yahoo news. Back on R3v. Make coffee. Drink coffee. Smoke cigarette. Shit my pants.

It's been about 6 years now for me. I smoked 2 packs a day for about 15 years. I quite because I was planning on taking that money and buying me an E46 M3. Well, I don't feel like I have more money, or an E46 M3- but I am VERY happy I quite!
I took 2 puffs of cigarette about 6 months ago, and it made me so sick I threw up all the beer I drank earlier that night.

30 years ago for me .. My dad died of throat cancer. He smoked a long time and quit 20 years before he was diagnosed.. I despise cigarettes
