There are a lot of asians (at least around here) that use it the same as black guys do amongst each other. Caught me off guard the first few times I heard it, and still does on occasion.

That was really hard to watch. I can't and will never understand how someone can do that to another person. I hope the kid recovers fully, physically and mentally, props to him for taking it like a champ. As Massimo said, if you don't play by the rules, don't expect any different treatment for you.
