the guy with the 450 hasnt got back to me yet. Im hoping to get into the E28 just cause i know a fair bit about them and i think i can get it for a good price. If i cannot get my price on the e28, ill probably go for the volvo.
I like the E46 (love the green and MPGs) but 220 is a lot, and who knows what maintenance has or hasnt been done.

volvo 240's are like a real shitty version of an early 318i. no power and no handling capabilities to save it's life.If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!Comment

So i had the E28 for about 30 hours....It turns out it needed more work than i expected or was made aware of. The guy i bought it from was a really cool dude, missed his car and took it back, no harm no foul.
I talked to my dad and he offered to lend me some money to get me a car that I dont need to mess with and can just drive without needing to mess with anything. Not that I dislike working on my cars, but i have a small 1 bedroom apartment, my entire collection of tools is at my dads house 800 miles away and between work and school i really dont have time to be without a car, or wrenching.
With that being said, I have around $4-5K to spend and would like to keep it in the BMW family and it must be a 5spd. Any suggestions? Im thinking e28/e34 or clean e30. Only deal breaker is a red car.

EWW dont get a 93 850. they're the fucktard oddball.
Get a 90-92 Volvo 240. Look for a 5-speed manual, I'm about to hop in mine right now and head to the safeway to buy some nachos for the game.
That is all.
