This kept me from drinking coke much anymore. Take how many grams of sugar 1 can of monster has. Take a pack of sweetener, make a pile of said grams of sugar. 1 pack equals 1 gram. So that makes (even just for 1 can of coke) a pile of almost 40 packets. Just look at how much sugar you're drinking for one can and it'll probably turn you off from drinking it. It did me.Originally posted by Wh33lhopThis is r3v. Check your vaginal sand at the door.Comment

That's me. Granted, I don't drink any pop, don't eat fast food, don't smoke and never done drugs, don't eat meat and only drink a few beers at a time a few times a week, go to the gym and ride a ton of bikes. There are far worse things you can put in your body than energy drinks. Not defending them, just saying.91 318is M50 swapped

But I usually have one of these a day, unhealthy as but taste so dam good. If any of you guys ever come to south australia it is the first thing you must buy. Actually South Australia is one of only like 5 places in the world where coke a cola is out sold by another drink. That drink is this iced coffee.

Red Bull is it for me. I might do one of the 8oz or the 12oz cans every other day or so, but mostly just because I really like it. I don't drink them for the "energy".
I actually get more energy out of EmergenC, I drink one when I get up and before bed every day.Comment

Samedi. This stuff is the only thing I've had that actually makes me legit buzzed. I can't find it anywhere anymore though :( Loved the stuff.

I had a green monster once in 7th grade...
Gave my buddy a ride home on my super awesomely cool pegs and he thought he'd return the favor with a can of the then-trending Monster. Drank less than half (granted I was out of breath the whole time trying to chug this new fuk of a concoction) and handed it back, at which point he shrugged and chugged the rest like water.
Still remember the taste as a sophomore in college.
I'll have a water thanks.Last edited by nickflic3; 01-31-2012, 10:56 PM.Bronzit 4-door Swap Drifting somewhere

my buddys family runs a beverage co (stocking stores/vending machines), they had a pallet of monster that was damaged and leaked a bunch on the warehouse floor. When they moved the pallet a week or so after it arrived, was when they noticed it had leaked. This is also when they noticed that it ate away at the concrete floor.
0 for me, if that shit can eat away at concrete im going to pass.

Yeah, Monster and Rockstar evergy drinks are horrid for your endocrine system and thyroid / parathyroid long term. Ask my 25 year old brother who was drinking 4-5 a day.
When he was 20 he had a full head of hair and weighed 180lbs. He got hooked on energy drinks working long 3rd shifts at a torque converter factory. After 5-6 years of energy drink addiction he looks older than me (I'm 30) like a 35+ year 260lb George Costanza with peptic ulsers. People can recognize that we're brothers but always ask who is the oldest.
I stick to Green Tea and the very occassional coffee. I usually have 2 cups of green tea each day along with water. On the weekends I will enjoy a cup or two of coffee from the ole Keurig.
I'm ont going to say never drink energy drinks period.. The key word though is moderation. Learn to identify these things as treats and allow yourself to enjoy one every now and then but living on them daily is no different than living on candy bars, you know the end result will not be good for you.Last edited by RobertK; 02-01-2012, 08:03 AM.Comment
