Saitama's reaction of just "Sou ka." was hilarious. Getting hyped for it too. I binge watched it recently and I can't get over how amazing OPM is.

Hellz yea.. OPM anime met my expectations coming from reading the manga 👍👍

Super pumped for OPM too. Just started it the other day and concurrently working my way through the manga too.

Currently watching (as well): Azumanga Daioh(like seinfeld meets surreal japanese high school anime), Yuyushiki (kinda similar to AD with less crazy shit and more puns), and still gradually working my way through Naruto:shippuden.

I've finished Neon Genesis Evangelion (man I wish they had a spin off series of the high school bit in the final episode) and also Attack on Titan (eagerly awaiting season two).

Any of you who've seen BECK, how would you describe it? I have a huge list of stuff I still need to watch, and I'm considering adding to it.

The best anime about music ever made. Boy finding his way in the world. Boy finds rock and roll. Changes boy's life. Learns guitar, invited to join a band and then they find out he can sing. But there are no short cuts, they struggle their way to the top. The anime encompasses the first 3 or 4 manga volumes. There are a total of 33 manga volumes. The story gets better and better. The last volume is not as good as the second to last volume. This is one of my top ten recommended anime.

It is definitely on my list then. Have you seen "kids on the slope"?

it seems like a similar concept and it was done by the people behind champloo and bebop

Yes. I thought it was good. No where near "BECK, Mongolian Chop Squad", but it was still good. It is jazz and easy to get into. Both anime have a talent competition in them and they are some of the best scenes. If you like music anime you should check out "Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso". This is another good one. Forewarned you might cry. But is also really good in my opinion.

I have seen all of "Toaru Majutsu no Index". I thought the first one was ok. The second season not as good as the first but I would watch a season three if they made one.

I finished "One Punch Man". It was amazing. I will be reading the manga in the near future. It is definitely in my top ten.

One punch man is great lol, it was a diamond in the rough and it got an anime spot that I felt was deserved.. But yea I know index isn't a pure gem but I like the whole concept of magic and science. It kept me entertained.. Along side of that for a next season I'm waiting for an S2 of "legend of legendary heroes" and "devil is a part-timer" was good too.. Damn I'm getting all nerdish now Bahahaha

Watched it. Felt like my heart got crushed by a tidal wave of anvils. Not often that a story (let alone an anime) has that kind of effect.

Also watched 5cm per second. That second story absolutely crushed me too. Two beautiful but sad pieces of art. But such is life...

Going to watch garden of words next since I seem to be on a love-tragedy kick.

Also joining a group watch of Cross Game starting tomorrow. Should be good.

I never saw this response until now. But I too have been waiting for a season 2 of "Legend of Legendary Heroes". It is based off of light novels and the story gets crazy good. But it has been years now, I doubt they make a second season. "Devil is Part-timer" was good too, I enjoyed the plots and concept. I am confident they will make another season.

The two anime I want to see another season of the most though would probably be: "The Irregular at Magic High School" and another season of "Spice and Wolf". "Spice and Wolf" will really put the feels on you, I highly recommend "Spice and Wolf".

Tidal wave of anvils is very accurate of a description. But it is so good, you can't stop watching, hoping everything will turn out. Life isn't all happy endings.

"Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso", then "5cm per second" now "Cross Game". You are a glutton for punishment. But "Cross Game" is only really sad in the beginning, after that it is high school baseball. But it is still good.

I have to update what I have been watching it has been a while. "I just recently finished "Garo Guren no Tsuki". I wasn't nearly as good as the previous season. And there were a lot of plot lines that were never finished. The last fight is pretty good though. Definitely check out "Spice and Wolf" if you haven't already.

Damn, don't drop that it's crazy good then remind me it has been years and it's unlikely lmao.. Yea I would for sure be down for another devil is a part timer and irregular highschool student, I think it kind of reminded me of Darker than Black, awesome fight scenes short but enough to realize he's badass

And you know what.. Nice call, I've watched that series (spice and wolf) before and really liked it.. It's sitting on the shelf. Probably will re-watch

An another note: 5cm per second FTW.. Sad but yea
