I haven't watched Naruto in a while probably close to a year. Did they get to the Itachi and Sauske vs. Kabuto yet. I am really looking forward to seeing that animated.

Only thing i used to watch that is close to anime and it was on netflix till about a month ago is Avatar The Last Airbender

Samurai Jack was the shit. Loved the voice for Aku

I just read that they are making a sequel to Samurai Jack, but I think it was as a comic book.

No not yet, I switched over to the manga and got all the way caught up on that as well. I feel free from the clutches of naruto now! I think I'll take a break for now until they release a bunch of episodes, that is, if I can hold back from watching them.

I was hooked on dragonball when i was small. I saw the entire series, and maybe it's just me, but I have not seen any kind of action cartoon as good as this one.

Just watched some episodes of Avatar: Legen of Korra. It's actually pretty good.

It is kind of funny you say that because the Dragonball series was originally meant to be a comedy anime. And it kind of turned into action as it progressed. That is the same with a lot of other anime like One Piece and Naruto. But the Dragonball series is in it's own category now and a lot of manga/anime creators have credited Dragonball for the inspiration for their own work.

Fist of the North Star is an older anime that was in the same category as Dragonball when it was out. It is similar but very different. Something to check out if you are looking for action/martial arts.

Afro Samurai was good. I really liked the idea of the show. The plot was good too. I would have liked it a lot better if I could have found a Japanese dubbed version. Not sure if it was an Anime or and American anime. Do you know who created it?
