Rigs of Rods

So I was looking for reviews on In2ane, then came across this game called 'Rigs of Rods'

Well the graphics are nothing special, but it is designed for soft body physics. If you have not heard of it or played it, well basically it is just a soft body dynamics game so when you crash your car the chassis deforms and twists. You can also drive cranes, airplanes, boats, semi trailers ect and it is all interactive. So I can get a crane load a container onto a truck, drive to the other side of the map, get a heavy lift helicopter to lift the container then drop it on a car and crush it. Yes many lolz were had.

It is also multi player have not tried that yet. There is a lot more to the game with engine torque and clutch which makes it a bit hard with keyboard controls

Oh and did I mention it is free. Yes it is free, probably the most fun game I have played in a very long time. I love smashing stuff. lol.

So just wanted to put it out there and to know if anyone else plays and what they think of it.

I've played this game but my xps m1710 won't even handle it. So I don't use it anymore.

Screw it, pc emulator time. The mac adaption doesn't even touch this haha.

Even if I run bootcamp on my mac, games fuck my shit up. Video card isn't good enough to handle it, and it's not upgradable on a mac. I have to play all games on ultra slow setting and even then it's laggy. It's ridiculous rofl

Seriously? Dang. I've run plenty of Mac specific games at full resolution and had no issues...

Been playing for it for awhile its a real addiction especially with the crash physics, just remember to have a good PC to run it

For some reason it ran really slowly on my computer...I mean, I don't have the fastest computer in the world, but you'd think an i7 processor with 8gb of ram and a 1gb separate gpu would be able to handle it :\

i tried it, was really annoying that I couldn't move the Puller with anything. where did you get that red crane? I could only get the yellow one. Whenever I would spawn a trailer for a semi it would be under ground or fall from the sky and disintegrate.

I got a real high end AMD rig Phenom II black edition overclocked and playing this game can really put it to a crawl, its because of the game engine it uses and requires a ton of CPU power to render all those polys so really anyone with a real high end machine will eventually have issues with FPS
