I admit its shady as hell, but as long as you don't release anything until the check clears I don't see the risk. Am I missing something? The fucking people you meet on craigslist I swear to god they're all weird.
And yes you definitely missed something. They send you a check, track where it goes, and empty the bank account it goes into. You have been warned.
