    Hells yes John!!!
    Matt Hensley FTW.
    How's that baby?
Lets not forget about one of the most important parts of video history.

Natas is so rad, not only did he jump start street skating, he has contributed to some of the biggest moves/ innovations in skateboarding. W/o his creativity we wouldn't be where we are today.
My all time favorite video, hence my online name.

1281 is another video that changed how we approached street skating, mini ramp, and art in skateboarding.
Andy Howell was another innovator that lead the charge of art, creativity, and mainstream awareness for skateboarding.
Little trivia for the youngsters, Grant Taylor's (SOTY) dad Thomas is in this video. Skated with Grant a couple weeks ago, he screws around better than most pros skate seriously. It's truly a joy to watch a guy you saw grow up in skateboarding achieve accolades you could only dream of achieving, all with a good attitude and a drive to give back to the sport.

Man, I remember the guys in the local shop, calling me in and saying "sit down man, look at this video we just popped in the VHS you aren't going to even understand this shit!" , super big-gulp in hand and watching the Hensley segment of the H-Street video...=Mind Blown, funny thing was me and a buddy of mine were rocking the Converse Cons already too lol.

Natas was my personal skate idol, I loved his style, fast, Big power, go large kind of thing, I was never particularly into, or good at the highly technical stuff so He super appealed to me and my natural flow was similar to his (with less tallent fo' sho'). I had 3 of his SMA decks I think, and I had two Hensley's from H-Street at least(I think 1 was a mini, but it was the first one in town so I picked it up), they had the sickest concave and the noses of the decks got longer with them. they were imho the first evolutionary step to the jelly-bean decks of now.

great memories in these vids, thanks! I just started skating again a week and a half ago...who ever said enjoy it now, because when it is gone, it is gone was right lol, so sad and pathetic to have to "re-learn" everything...

M Rex is killing it everyday.

Natas's part in Streets on Fire is legendary and is the main reason why I like firehose and first gen 4runners ;) New Deal's 1281 and Useless Wooden Toys also so great vids of the past for sure.

since were on a way back trip at the moment... more of my personal favorites from back in the days of VHS.

        Video Days
Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

and from the days a freestyle part could still make it into the video
Rubbish Heap - was this the first vid that had an extra half after about 3o minutes of static?

And then the one that made me watch the intro 3 times to be sure I didn't miss anything
        Virtual Reality
This is "Plan B - Virtual Reality" by ekkun on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

and since that is here might as well mention the first one

I live the relearning every time I go skate. Speaking of which. Anyone in the ATL up for a D park session sometime this weekend?

Pat's a terminator, also a great drinking buddy. We spent an entire weekend with him and Montessi at ASR a couple years ago. Good times for sure.
I actually have all the videos on VHS, everything from BB video show to Trilogy. They are just sitting in a chest of drawers in my basement. I need to bring them up to Ruin so Ian can convert them to dvd...

Rodney Mullen was always my favorite.

I wish I would have gotten in to skating more when I started. Reading all this makes me want to start back.

                            SOTY 2012
It's tough to write a caption for skating like this. We'll try to keep it simple: David sought out the gnarliest street spots in existence and annihilated them. Mix that in with his timeless transition skills and you have one of the best parts we've ever seen.

My board got jacked a couple days ago.

                              Im still bummed.
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

                                that lame as hell.
out of all the years ive never fallen victim to that fate.

one time i caught some bikers trying to steal me and a friends set ups, totally got them on it and called them out, they took our boards during a demo/product toss.

i like bikers but man they were douches.

today me and a friend made a stanced skateboard, so fucking useless but i guess its kind of a novelty lol.
i did a kickflip on it and felt accomplished.
