Great story dude, that's the kind of stuff that makes me proud to be an American.
My own dad came to this country from his native Iran when he was 18, with no money, not knowing English. Went to Utah State, then to Cal Poly SLO, double majoring in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics, top of his class.
He's never been back to his home & native country since that day that he left back in 1969. My dad is my idol in life, I strive to be like him everyday.
In fact, today I'm giving a speech on him in my Public speaking Gen ed class..

it's good to hear stories about hard working people that busted their asses and did something with themselves, instead of complaining about how bad they have it (hah!)
.....meanwhile, somewhere on the west coast, some kid living in his parents $750,000 house borrowed their Mercedes to go buy some pot so he could sit around and get high while playing video games and eating cheetos.. oh man, how can he survive under those conditions? :|
The test is easy as pie, I learned everything in my years of American schooling aha they should give you some sort of study book that has questions and answers that they choose from (like 5 or 6)

congrats!!! very nice.
I'm kinda the opposite, I am American, but doing my thing here in Germany now. It was really easy to get my permanent residency over here, but for non Americans it's a bit harder I've heard though. A German citizen I do not wanna be though. Voting for which thief is running the place isn't that important to me.

There was a group of guys doing a 24v swap on someones car and one of the neighbor kids came over and starting too many questions. Tempers flared, sawzalls did work, and he cut the kids leg off. The victim later joined this forum under the name "5toes".
