I actually have been rocking an old as fuck black leather wallet for a few years, it works but I'm looking to get a super simple leather sleeve with just a couple pockets for cards and one for a little cash. Minimalist.
Interesting. I think I will look into one of these.
+1 that's a new design to me too.
I like this thread, it is something I've been experimenting with for a while. I actually used to just keep my driv lis and amex rubberbanded in my pocket with money simply folded. I stopped using a wallet in my back pocket years ago. It makes my back hurt and it prematurely wears out dress slacks. I keep all the stupid cards (bimart / ace hardware loyalty / costco / rei / autozone / etc) and coffee hut punch cards rubber-banded together in my car out of sight. If you shove everything in your wallet, it's going to bulge. And is really unnecessary.
I try to keep my wallet down to just credit cards / drivers license / conc. carry permits (utah and oregon) and my health insurance card. Maybe an extra business card or two if I'm going to a function where someone might ask.
So depending on the season I alternate between a simple polo bifold and a Tumi card/money clip hybrid.
BTW, make an effort to pare down your keychain too.
I think the slimmy is in the running though now that I know about it.
