. Back like 12 some years ago when my dad drove this back down from sacramento area he was pulling little pass 120 on the I-5 like nothing.

Isn't this a major part of your 'issue(s) right here?

i was 7 at the time, yes im 19 now(third year driving), so i got "dumb teenager" attitude when it comes to driving, like honestly im not a bad driver but i got that "go faster than everyone elses" type of ego, which is dumb but i cant stop it

When I was 19 I was lucky enough to have a c6 vette but let me tell you, the police can definitely knock some sense in you. I think thats the only way youll get the 'I wanna go faster' bug outta you. Collectively, I spent just about 1500 in tickets in that car. 3 years later i have my eta and no tickets since then. Trust me, if you wanna go fast do it on a track it's cheaper.

OP, have you ever done an autoX or a track day? They are both a great way to get that "I'm a racecar driver and wanna go fast all the time" mentality out of your head. Go find an autoX, it's cheap and will teach you a lot about being a better driver. It's a great way to push your car without being unsafe, and will give you a good apreciation for how quickly things can get out of control when your pushing a car to the limit.

I think ive seen enough car accidents today already especially one where they had to close out an intersection, im taking her nice and easy now, my girlfriend already told me its a good car, no need to do anything stupid to prove yourself and she said she would more than happy slap me if i tried to speed up :D

Nonetheless, OP, just enjoy the car for what it is. From the looks, it appears to be rather good looking as you're slowly but surely restoring.

+1 for autox and track day.
you will feel silly racing around town after a day at autox.

when you want to race around town fast, just remember- there are drivers much faster than you and cars much faster than yours. the best drivers don't drive like this on the road. you're probably passing them and they look at your actions like an amateur.

keep modding your car, keep learning driving technique and do autox. it's super easy to get in to.
