Where do you buy your DVD's?

I am trying to start up a DVD collection, and so far I have just been buying stuff on sale locally. For instance, Hollywood Video had Saw and The Grudge for sale for $10 as a package last night so I picked that up.

Are there any good web sites for buying DVD discounted? Or do you guys just buy locally?

A friend of mine has like 800 or so and gets nearly all of them previously viewed from Hollywood or Blockbuster. I think they're mostly 3 for $25 for the newer ones...

At least in my area, Best Buy usually has the cheapest newer DVDs (as in 1-3 years old). I once paid $4 for Requiem For A Dream at a Best Buy in NH.

But Walmart has dirt-cheap movies, sometimes you can find good ones mixed in with all the junk they sell. For example I think i paid $6.88 + tax for Ronin last year. I've found a bunch of other pretty good movies for $5-10 there.

Columbia House (9 for a penny each + 6 at full price) ~$9 a movie or whatever the fuck the math is.
        Blockbuster pre-owned rocks my collection.
        Walmart is decent.

Have you guys had good luck with pre-owned movies? They all seem to have a warrenty so it seems like a good deal. I got the Life of David Gale for $5.50 at Wal-Mart the other night, I was surprised it was in that bin with all the junk movies. I also got Snatch and Fraility for $7 each at Circuit City over Labor Day.

I do that Blockbuster deal where I can have two videos out, and I don't pay anything to rent them. Then I rip and compress them onto one of my hard drives. I have 150 movies that takes up 137GB, and they were all free.

Wal-Mart is the shit for DVD's, straight up. I also hit Target pretty frequently, I got the Unrated Director's Cut of American Psycho on one of those $9.99 racks at the end of the checkstands, and they always have great shit on those. Blockbuster and Hollywood are also great for DVD's, the previously viewed ones are the bomb, because they won't put them out unless they're perfect.

My local Wal Mart didn't seem to have that big of a selection, but the prices were good. Thanks Josh.

If you live near a Fry's Electronics, oftentimes you can find some good titles pretty cheap. I'd also suggest ebay.

To be honest I am over eBay. I've been using it for years and its just not as good as it used to be, and I try to avoid it now.
