Yes, but it was a gift. It does actually taste good neat, unlike regular crown royal's need for a mixer.

I can drink crown straight. Mostly do. It's smoother than most nice rocks-whiskys, but misses out on a lot of taste.

I never tried out The Balvenie before, I am off tomorrow to locate a bottle.

And as any good scotch drinker goes what is your pick of pipe or cigar? Looking for something new to pack my pipe with.
          Pipe: Rum & Maple
For cigars I enjoy: CAO gold and the eXtreme. I had a Diamond Crown once, I would have to say that is the best I have ever had.

ANDRU is winning, Boston would be fun right now.

Too many good sounding single malts to try now, all I got is some old Yamazaki..

Might have to go grab some crown since I'm broke, just to note, crown needs no mixer that's just dumb.

Drinking crown from a flask at the Vegas casinos, drinking free coors from the casino and about to have a hell of a hangover while driving home tomorrow.

Just got back from boston and had at least 8 new whiskeys, and one or two new scotches. Damn that I can't remember but a few of the names.

I had a 14y Oban though, which was excellent. Very pleasing oak with cinnamon or brown sugar.

You're a little behind the times my friend.

                        On March 16, 2012, 1.00 Canadian Dollar(s) = 1.01 U.S. dollar(s), at an exchange rate of 1.0087 (using nominal rate).

But yes we do get bent over the barrel for booze up here. Fucking taxes like a motherfucker on booze and smokes.

Tonight I'm drinking Glenlivet 12, neat. I would rather be drinking Oban but seeing as it's $124 a bottle I will have to wait until next time.

Out of no where I have developed a liking for cold scotch on the rocks. I find my self having a glass a night. I feel like an alcoholic, lol.

Meh, I drank a $40 bottle of Woodford Reserve last night as Old Fashioned's.

Drank a few more New Fashioned's with crown tonight.

I'm going to try some of the reco's in this thread in the next few weeks.
