    your not using the right torch you need Oxygen and Acetylene or at the very least a Mapp gas unit, Propane just wont give you enough heat in a situation like that.

          I just attached a long adjustable to the open end of the fixed wrench for some more leverage.

          The one I swapped was the original 1986 part too. Seemed to do the trick, though I sorta risked pulling the car down on myself. :roll:
