First off, all you guys that wear gloves are pussies.

Second, Gojo for when when my hands are REALLY dirt and then just soap and a scrub brush for when they are just a little dirty.

I have used ZEP Cherry though and it works a LOT better then Gojo, but the Home Depot here stopped carrying it. We have Kimberly Clark "Kimcare" at work and it seems to work the best. But they only sell it for use in a dispenser, so it isn't exactly useful for at home.

step 1:fill sink with dirty dishes. step 2:wash dishes. step 3: your hands should now be vagina friendly: Seriously this really does work, after work all week i usually don't load the dishwasher on friday night. Instead i was them by hand and my hands come clean at the same time.

I think OP was asking about male mechanics. But kudos to you as a chick who knows her place in the kitchen.

I would agree with you, but any self respecting woman that wants to get down won't get near a mechanic's hands. Gloves decrease that possibility. I wear them when I work on all my vehicles and it saves a lot of cleaning later on.

You do realize the main reason mechanics wear gloves is because you can get cancer from all the shit absorbed under your fingernails over time? Granted, it happens over a prolonged period of time like exposure to welding equipment has the ability to give you skin cancer eventually. Being a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles, in this case, is smart.

                    +1

I have bloodwork that confirms this. A few years ago, the university near me was doing a study about chemicals absorbed through the hands. I never used gloves and had a rather alarming number of nasties in my blood. After only 6 months of nitrile glove use, the count had dropped considerably. Made a believer out of me!

Although i'm a little embarrassed to admit it, Snap-on Nitro Gold with fibril is the shit.

I've used a lot of different hand cleaners over the years and this one is my favorite. It cleans really well, quickly, and doesn't dry your hands out like some others do. It works with water or without and doesn't leave a smell or residue on your hands.

That being said, if you get a mixture of friction material and oil (trans bellhousing, etc. ) on your hands you will be wearing some of that stain for a little while regardless of hand cleaner.

It's ok, I use it too. I like it. I get it for free, though.

Gojo is shit I have no idea how people use it. The Wurth hand cleaner is really good and not too expensive. The snap on soap is also very good. Also don't share nail brushes.

Gloves, but I end up taking them off a lot of times.
