1980 Snorunner

Has anyone owned, or even heard of these? Basically a little minibike with a snowmobile track on it. There's one for sale in my area for $700...and I'm SO tempted...just wondering if I should pull the trigger or not.





Apparently the engine was factory detuned to 7Hp, but with a few simple tweaks you can get around 11Hp from these little guys.

I had one when I was 7 to rip around on the lake in upper michigan.

It was a handful for me at the time. Don't ever, ever do deep snow unless you don't plan on stopping. But they're a definite hoot. That's for sure.

Hmmm. I really want it! haha it would be easy to rebuild too. I did some research and theres a guy in the states that offers all the parts for this thing. Decal kits, carbs, new engines, frames, ski's...

So tempting. Agh fuck. I wonder if he will let me test drive it.
