I'm going to be going to a different school in the fall and all except 1 are vey far away from civilization and my friends. The commute to my girl's college would be 130miles every weekend and it would be about 210miles to get back home. I'd rather take my E30 off insurance and leave it for when I come back home for break or what not to use it. Anyway I'd love to have a really high MPG car. Like >40mpg. But I'm not going to spend a lot of money, <$2000 is my goal, and reliabilty has to be a strong suit. Diesel or petrol I don't really care. The only worthy candidates I've found are
CRX HF-Impossible to find it seems(probably cause they're all totalled)- but those who have them claim >60mpg
<1990's Volkswagen Diesels. Not sure how reliable these cars are.
This is just a feeler but depending on which school I go to I'm going to need to consider it.
