    Undercover Cops

Last night I got pulled over by an unmarked officer.
I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I never really see people get pulled over by these types of officers.

I wonder why they have them. I guess its easier to give out tickets that why.

I got lucky as he let me go without a ticket.

You can always request that a marked officer shows up if you feel uncomfortable

Undercover cop or detective? I don't think detectives can issue tickets

I usually request they let me go on my way because *oops!* I wasn't looking out for them.

I've been pulled over and ticketed by a unmarked car twice...if thats what you mean (and ticketed twice). Unmarked? Or undercover? was the cop wearing a uniform?

under covers do not issue tickets...unmarked is the same as a regular cop, just without the black and white.

i saw a new unmarked hyundai accent with the interceptor cameras mounted on the trunk in baltimore yesterday.

              a hyundai accent....

annnddd i dont think undercover cops would blow their cover to issue you a speeding ticket. i think you mean unmarked.

Pretty sure you don't have to stop for undercovers. If it were me I would have called him in.

I have been pulled over by an unmarked car, but not by an undercover officer. Not very undercover if they are issuing tickets and driving a Crown Vic or something that is very similar to a police interceptor.

I got pulled over by a detective in an unmarked for exploder, he had to have a nother cop (state patrol) come to write the ticket which made it extreamly easy get the ticket thrown out as the cop that wrote the ticket didn't actually see anything.

Sorry guys! I will fix my post.
I meant unmarked. It was an unmarked officer.

                        I guess I got lucky.

They used to pull this shit where they would sit in a crossing on the interstate ("Authorized vehicles only" pull through) and clock people. Then, they would radio down the mountain to a group of 3-4 cops sitting a couple pull throughs away to pull over such and such car.

They stopped doing it 'cause the officer doing the ticketing wasn't the officer who clocked the offender offending.
